Flashback

I am a little late, but here is my flashback to Easter weekend. Here are some pictures of our Easter. We had a great weekend participating in multiple easter egg hunts. We had Easter dinner with my parents and a bunch of cousins. Noahs friend Ethan's mom had an easter egg hunt in their back yard with grass that was at least 12 inches long. I'm pretty sure they will shoot some egg pieces and candy out of their lawn mower when they mow. It was a fun weekend!

The Voice Baby, The Voice

I am a bit of a weirdo but I absolutely LOVE realtiy shows. My latest addiction is the Voice. Over the years I have predicted with great accuracy the winners of many reality shows. So accuratly that Ben says, "if I were a bettin' man I would bet on your predictions." So, just for fun I am going to predict who I think will take it all on "The Voice". I will follow my predicted contestant through the journey of the show and we will see how I/they do. Hopefully in the end coming up a winner. Here is the link to his audition clip for my guy, Javier. He is amazing and I think he will take it all.

Young Astronauts

This year at school Noah joined a group called Young Astronauts. They had lots of afterschool activities and meetings where they learned about NASA, outer space, rockets and stars. They took a few field trips to places like Hill Aerospace Museum, Hansen
Planetarium, and space camp. He really enjoyed it. To end the year they have an awards ceremony and give each student a certificate for completing all the requirements to be a jr. ranger. Then they shoot off the rockets they have been working hard to build. It was really fun.

Here is a video of his rocket launch...

Lunch with Grandma

Is there anything more nostalgic than walking into an Elementary School Cafeteria and being blanketed by the aroma of cafeteria food. I used to love lunch time at school. I usually brought a home lunch, but as a kid I loved to buy school lunch when I could. That may seem strange, but it was a real treat for me. The boys school hosted a Grandparents lunch day a few weeks ago and wanted to post it. Grandma Leta came and ate with us. Thanks for sharing this day in our lives with us.

Giggly baby

Is there anything else in the world that is 100% guaranteed to bring an instant smile to your face than a baby that giggles? I dare you to try to find something. Josh is 3 months (13 weeks to be exact) and he can giggle. He is very particular as to when he will giggle. He LOVES the tub so I can always get him to laugh in the tub. He is starting to respond to being tickled, but it depends on his mood and where you are tickling him. I got him to giggle a few times in this video.

By the way...he laughed for me first. That is to say he doesn't laugh for Ben.

You don't love your cousin cause it's wrong...

Well, you can love your cousin...just don't LOVE your cousin. Seth and his cousin Bennett began to take the toys out of the toy box at Grandmas house. Every adult who walked by them nicely reminded them that they were going to have to put them back. They ignored our warnings and continued to work together taking out more toys. I went in the toy room and started putting the toys back in the box in an effort to show them how it was done. They ushered me away and persevered. Now having to take the toys out that I put in made it exponentially more difficult. Finally, all the annoying adults left them alone just long enough to reach the top of their Mt. Everest. They emptied the entire toy box...and climbed in. They proceeded to laugh at each other to celebrate their victory. Nice job you two. Cousins, friends, boys, teammates, and now victors!
