Shabby Apple Shakespeare Garden Dress GIVEAWAY!!!!

Shabby Apple Shakespeare Garden Dress GIVEAWAY!!!!

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

I don't run.

My sister has been hassling me for 1 1/2 years to run.

I finally conquered my inner demons and did it.

I ran a 5K.

Don't tell Steph, but it was almost fun...I said almost.

I'm the one in the red sweatshirt.
Notice there are people behind me?
Thanks for the picture Beth.

Dreams really do come true

A life long dream of mine and Bens' when we were kids was to go see the Harlem Globetrotters. Of course we never got to go. Naturally when they came to Salt Lake City we took the boys.

Ben splurged and bought second row tickets. For some reason there was no one sitting in the front row so it was as if we had front row tickets. I always wondered what kind of people paid that much for front row tickets....oh, people like Ben.
We got to stand on the court and they let the boys bounce their ball at half time. It was a lot of fun for the boys and a thrill for me and Ben too because if any of you know where are season tickets are...the floor is only a dream to be able to stand on it. That dream came true that night.
Eat your heart out mom, we even got to touch the official Jazz basketball standard.
The whole team was so fun.but our favorite player was Hang Time who kept slamming the ball in lots of amazing ways. This is him hanging upside down on the rim. I don't know if you can see it, but it was awesome. The ref was trying to jump up there and get him down, but of couse he couldn't jump that high. Poor ref.

My other favorite part of the show was the little guy on the Generals. Big Easy kept calling him the baby and making jokes about the baby all night. It was hilarious. Lots of fun had by all and hopefully great memories for the boys. I know multiple dreams came true for me so I have some great ones...who needs Princesses on ice anyway?
