My daughter???

Today I was talking to a women who didn't know my family. She started to talk to my kids and asked Adam, "so how is it being the only sister in between your two brothers?" He immediately ripped off his hat and said to her, "no, I'm a boy not a girl!" Why would anyone ever assume that a child with a blue coat, black boots, a spongebob hat and baseball gloves on was a girl??? She made the excuse that he was beautiful and his eyelashes were unbelievable for a boy. Luckily Adam laughed about it all the way home. He kept repeating to himself, "Duh, I'm a boy!" My comment is that he is beautiful and emotional enough to be a girl, but I assure you...he is all BOY!!!

A down home Horsley Christmas

Christmas this year was pretty chill. We stayed at Grandmas house Christmas Eve and enjoyed our annual festival of foods. We had egg rolls, sushi, papooses, a yummy cinnamon ring that I can't remember what it was called, and much more! It was delicious! Christmas morning and most of the day was spent opening gifts, making and eating Christmas dinner, and sledding. Here are a few shots of the kids. I think everyone enjoyed Christmas!

Seth doesn't mind having me change his clothes. However he absolutely hates to have to lie down and get his diaper changed. The other day I was trying to do 10 things at once, including trying to change his diaper. He was screaming and kicking and flailing his appendages so I let him go. He ran away and this is where I found him. I had to take some pictures. He was laughing at me because he thought he was so funny. He was in heaven! No diaper on and standing at the table playing with the Lego's that his brothers never let him play with.
This picture is censored a little bit for those who are offended by cute squishy baby bums!

The seventh year of the reign of the Horsleys

We celebrated Noahs 7th birthday on Friday. We went to his school and spent the day with his class. His teacher had him stand up for his birthday and his classmates asked him questions about his favorite things to get to know him better. After that there was sledding with 12 cousins, drinking hot chocolate, eating soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, followed by cake and ice-cream bars, and opening presents. After all that we were all tuckered out! It was a great day and I hope Noah had a fun birthday. He is a wonderful son who is kind and loving to his brothers. He is very considerate of others. He is a little genious who can do anything he wants to in life. He Is my favorite Noah and I am so glad to have him as my son. Happy Birthday Noah!

This is random!

So, I'm driving in my car thinking I would try to feel some holiday spirit by listening to some Christmas music. . . Is there anything worse then flipping between the two available radio stations for Christmas music and having to choose between Air Supply and Gloria Estefan?? Merry Frickin' Christmas to me!
