PROJECT NOAH-WEEK #6.

PROJECT NOAH -FEBRUARY- WEEK #6 Purchase Items: 1. 6 lbs. of salt 2. Think long term! It will soon be time to plant bare-root fruit trees or berry canes. Consider “fruit salad” trees (four fruits on one root stalk) or mixed apple trees for a variety all in one, or an espalier tree for very limited space. If you have a wet patch in your yard or a fence or hill to cover, berries love extra water and something to climb. Look around your yard and determine whether a new planting could be incorporated. 3. Fire-proof boxActivity (FHE or Saturday)Make copies of your deeds, titles, insurance policies, social security cards, birth certificates and other important papers. Put the originals in a fire-proof box. Store extra copies at a trusted relative’s house or bank deposit box. Wheat TipIf you don’t own any wheat yet, try ordering just one case, (6 no#10 cans) which is usually pretty inexpensive. Ideas for storing one case are: under a bed or crib, in a coat closet, in the back of a cupboard, under a sink, in the laundry room, tool shed, or garage.
